And a VERY special thank you to Kerri Harrop (Music for Marriage) for her hard work and dedication in the fight for marriage equality and her devoted support to Same Love as an idea, song, and finally now as a music video. “Same Love” and the campaign to approve Ref 74 wouldn’t be the same without you, Kerri.

  1. This is such bull. Thank the lord I haven’t heard this on the radio bc this is NOT how all conservatives think, if y’all don’t want stereotypes then don’t stereotype us?

  2. why can,t we just be happy why can't we be truthful of who or what we love without bully's telling us that's gross you're going to hell well guess what if i am going to hell ill save you a seat because you are to God says do not judge and that's what you're doing. my sister and brother deserve to marry who ever they want and no one should be able to vote or say anything about it keep your hate comments to your self because no one asked to be gay your born that way. i love everyone i don,t care about your sex, race nothing you're human just like me. please think before you say something you'll regret

  3. I'm Christian and my parents are much on LGBT+, I've never really tried to change their mind because that's just them. Most people in my church aren't for it, but they aren't against it. I'm a bit confused on my sexual orientation right now. I'd just love to congratulate the LGBT+ community for how far they've gotten, great job you guys!

  4. I know you get slammed with hate speech if you express disapproval of these gay practices, and embraced and appreciated if you approve but I think it is cool how this comments section under the song is practically becoming a social media page to debate homosexuality!?

  5. I remember listening to this in 5th grade and not understanding the lyrics, but knowing I liked it a lot. Now 5 years, this song hits me a lot harder than I thought it would, especially since my family is one of those religious homophobes. I'm hoping one day I can be with the one I love, whatever gender they are, without hate clouding up our lives.

  6. I've been living in Church for my whole life and i support LGBT even my family has been dissing me about that, to the point where they won't talk to me for months!!

But fuck them, i work at another city now so i don't really care about what they think about my opinion.

  7. This song is beautiful it made me cry I understand this song I mean love is love there is nothing wrong with it it is not fair that people should stand in the way of love

  8. Because of you Macklemore, I'm no longer afraid of showing people who I am…Because of you, millions of people can be proud of who they are and doesn't let anyone tell them that it's not okay to be who they are…Because it is. Love is love…"No freedom til we're equal…"
